Searchlight Security Launches New Multi-Tenant Capability for Dark Web Monitoring Solution DarkIQ

Multi-tenancy functionality allows businesses to monitor sub-brands and vendors on the dark web, and MSSPs to manage dark web intelligence for multiple clients

PORTSMOUTH, England & WASHINGTON, October 27, 2022–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Searchlight Security, the dark web intelligence company, has announced new multi-tenant capabilities for DarkIQ, its powerful dark web monitoring solution. DarkIQ uses the most comprehensive dark web dataset on the market and is the only one to include dark web traffic to and from the organization’s network.

DarkIQ’s multi-tenancy feature allows organizations to manage multiple profiles on a single account, making it easier for them to monitor the deep, dark web for information – including employee credentials, IP addresses, company data sets, devices and software – which could indicate an impending attack.

Multitenancy also helps organizations such as managed service providers (MSSPs) to manage all of their customer base through a single platform, without having to switch between accounts.

“Our multi-tenant architecture was created in consultation with MSSPs who need the ability to easily switch between customer profiles,” said Gareth Owenson, co-founder and CTO of Searchlight Security. “MSSPs’ day-to-day work on the frontlines of cybersecurity means they were among the first to recognize the importance of monitoring the dark web for the very first warning signs of a threat. tenant removes the inherent struggle of managing multiple accounts, helping MSSPs meet their responsibilities of protecting multiple organizations from deep and dark web threats.”

Two pricing models are available for MSSPs: strategic licenses for managed security and tactical licenses to undertake one-off assignments such as pentests or security audits.

As supply chain risks continue to rise, businesses can also leverage DarkIQ’s multi-tenant functionality to monitor their entire supply chain through the platform, dramatically improving their assessment. of their overall risk on the dark web. Similarly, large companies can create profiles to manage the security of all their subsidiaries and affiliated brands at the group level.

“Monitoring a vendor’s exposure to the dark web can increase an organization’s ability to identify attack information that could potentially affect them,” Owenson said. “In today’s threat landscape, vendors are often used by attackers as vectors of access to businesses. Some of the most devastating attacks in recent years, including Kaseya and NotPetya, were caused by vulnerabilities in an organization’s software supply chain and having the ability to stop supply chain attacks from materializing is paramount.”
