Nigel says: “Having a live record has always been a dream of mine, and having it done in my geographic source, with people I love and appreciate very much, has made it an extremely special experience that I’m thrilled to share. with everyone.”

Throughout his career he has built a powerful foundation of funk, on stage and in the studio, proving to be a true student of music. His unique sound, built on pages ripped from the golden age of R&B, funk and soul, made him the musician he is today; an accomplished vocalist, keyboardist, session musician, and member of the GRAMMY-nominated funk-jazz-soul-hip-hop-psychedelic-jam-experimental titans Lettuce. Legions of fans are already familiar with Hall’s hearty keyboard bits and powerful vocal style.

The studio version of the song was recorded with a back-to-basics approach in Richmond, Virginia at famed Jellowstone Studios. Hall emphasizes channeling the vibe and soul of his music, channeling the unique style of jazz-influenced R&B and old-school funk that flows from him.
